The Institute of Education
The London Film and Media Conference will meet at The Institute of Education, the University of London's premier specialist education school.
It occupies a modern campus, designed by Sir Deny Lasdun, which occupies the length of Bedford Way in the historic Bloomsbury area of central London. Offering some of the most attractive conference facilities in the area, its seminar rooms are air conditioned and wi fi enabled.
The venue is served by numerous bus and tube stops and is within 15 minutes' walk of the major north-bound railway stations at Euston and King's Cross, while St. Pancras International connects with Paris in just two-and-a-quarter hours. Russell Square tube station connects with Heathrow Airport in 45 minutes via the Piccadilly Line.
Bloomsbury and Fitzrovia
Bloomsbury and nearby Fitzrovia offer a host of cafes, bars, restaurants, and hotels, whilst Russell Square and other green spots provide a welcome respite in the summer. The cultural resources of the British Library and the British Museum are close by, as is the shopping and entertainment district of the West End.
