Your Stay in London: Accommodation

Please note that the Conference is non-residential and that Speakers and Delegates are kindly requested to make their own arrangements for accommodation in London.

We recommend staying close to the conference venue to cut down on travel time and additional travel costs.

Within close proximity to the Conference venue in and around the University quarter of Bloomsbury, a wide variety of accommodation is available in hotels, guesthouses, 'bed-and-breakfast' accommodation. During vacation periods, student halls of residence are also useful forms of accommodation.

It is always a good idea to consult a travel forum such as Tripadvisor to check what other travellers have thought about their accommodation!

Further Suggestions

You might prefer to make your own totally independent arrangements for accommodation. If so, please bear the following in mind.

- search London accommodation on the Internet using search terms such as 'hotel', 'hostel', or 'b&b' ('bed-and-breakfast');

- check exact location by using a good map of London (for example, search www.maps.google.co.uk);

- check transport links using the various resources available from Transport for London (TFL) at  www.tfl.gov.uk;

- if possible, always check reviews by previous users at sites such as www.tripadvisor.co.uk.
